HEALTHY HOT CHOCOLATE

I have to admit that I am slightly addicted to chocolate. It is my absolute weakness. In winter my husband and I sip this decadent, may I mention healthy, hot chocolate in bed once the kids are asleep. Nevertheless, it is perfectly delicious and healthy enough to serve to your children too.
HOT CHOCOLATE Serves 2
1 1/4 cup almond milk
1 cup coconut milk
3 Tbsp cacao powder
2 Tbsp honey
1 tsp vanilla essence
Pour all of the ingredients into a pot and let it simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes.
Whisk it every now and then, to make sure that there are no lumps of cacao.
Pour into 2 mugs, sip and enjoy.
ICED CHOCOLATE Serves 2
This iced version of my healthy hot chocolate recipe is the perfect summer drink as it is refreshing, perfectly chocolaty and satisfying all in one.
Hot chocolate recipe (from above)
2 cups ice
Let the hot chocolate cool down completely.
Pour the cooled hot chocolate and the ice into a blender and blend until the ice is crushed and the mixture is thick and almost creamy.
Pour into 2 glasses, drink and enjoy.
